The Bible was primarily written in two languages: Hebrew and Greek. Both of these languages are what we would call “rich” languages, meaning that it could take 10 modern English words to really understand one Hebrew word.

You may never struggle with Greek and Hebrew resources because of WordBloom ’s breakthrough Biblical thesaurus technology which provides a quick visual representation of those “10 English” words that may describe one Hebrew or Greek word. See the illustration above.

You can also enter any Greek or Hebrew word directly into the Intelligent Search Box.

Greek and Hebrew Transliterations

Greek and Hebrew words must be entered in their transliterated, or simple English equivalent, form. For example, if your Bible teacher referred to the phrase “agape love”, you could enter the Greek Word “agape” in the Search Box.

Strong’s Numbers Searches

James Strong’s Exhaustive Concordance and Dictionary has been at the heart of most word study tools since 1890. Strong defined every word in the Bible and then made a catalogue of every place that those words occurred.

For centuries, resources have used these Strong’s numbers to define, cross reference and identify Hebrew and Greek words in almost any Bible dictionary, classroom or commentary.

You can focus your study on any Strong’s number by entering it in the Search Box as follows:

• Old Testament Number Format : OT+ Strong’s number
• New Testament Search Format : NT+ Strong’s number
